About This Listing

1988 Made in Japan Charvel Jackson Model 4M Import Series Guitar Neck. R Logo. Dot Inlay. Maple Fretboard. 22 Frets. Standard Nut/Floyd Ready.

Parts included: Bone Nut Blank, to upgrade factory nut if desired.

Neck condition – Neck has been modified to accommodate a bottom mount locking nut. Not correctly done in my opinion. You can still mount a normal size Kahler locking nut behind the factory nut as originally intended. Factory jumbo frets are in great shape overall with minor playwear marks, nothing major. Frets have tons of life left on them. Fretboard has a few small nicks and dings in finish, nothing major. No separation from fretboard and neck on sides of neck as this was a common issue on these maple fretboards from this era. Tiny finish chip on front face tip area of headstock. Tip of headstock is otherwise in great shape with no chips or signs of damage. Minor surface scratches on face of headstock as well. Back of locking nut post mounting holes have a few tiny surface cracks starting to show, nothing major. A few light wear marks in finish on back of headstock. Back of neck play area is in great shape with no large nicks or dings in finish. Neck is in overall great used condition with the exception of modifications and wear listed above and photographed in the listing. Photos in listing are also a part of the description. Factory nut is loose and needs to be reset. I will also include a New Bone Nut Blank if you want to upgrade. Neck is straight. Truss rod is fully intact and works fine with no issues. Item has been described to the best of my knowledge and is Being Sold As. Please review photos in listing and ask any questions prior to making purchase of item.

Guitar neck will need to be setup and intonated. Some cases this includes fret leveling, crown and polish once parts are mounted and neck is mounted to guitar body. I give in hand detailed descriptions of my items so that you will know ahead of time if any work beyond a basic setup needs to be done.

Due to neck being modified, I am allowing a return of item at buyer’s expense within 7 days of tracking showing delivery. Buyer is welcome to return neck minus to/from shipping costs for a refund of original purchase price. We are not giving any kind of partial refunds.

Return policy is only available to US Customers!!
