A fantastic mid-1960s Ludwig Super Classic in vibrant blue sparkle. 9x13" tom, 16x16" floor tom, and 14x22" kick drum with fold-out spurs, original rail consolette, and cymbal L-arm.
This kit came to us with what seemed to be all original heads (the tom batters have since been replaced with new Remo Ambassador Classics) and very clean edges and interiors. The plating shows age-typical tarnish and wear, and there are six additional holes in the bass drum, which seem to be from moving hardware around at some point.
The drums tune up nicely and sound rich, tubby, and translucent. As far as classic vintage tone, it truly doesn't get much better that this kit.
