Yamaha Subkick Microphone (Yamaha NS-10)

This is an amazing Subkick microphone that was made out of a Yamaha NS10 speaker. This thing sounds fantastic and, in fact, to our ears sounded better than the marketed and pricier subkick microphones. Of course, we mostly used this on kick drum it was also used to good effect as a blend on snare drums and amp cabinets.

Note: the cosmetic blemishes have absolutely no bearing on the sound. It sounds great and those have always been there since we converted the mi. But they are pictured for your info.
