The D-28 makes it easy to add dynamics from loud to delicate sounds.

Martin / 2000 D-28

The D-28 saw specification changes from 1990 to 2000.

If you look at it based on the characteristics of each generation, you will start to feel more attached to Martin's representative D-28.

The one that arrived this time is a model made in 2000.
The Sitka spruce on the top has changed to a subdued color, giving off the charm of a used item.
The Indian rosewood on the back of the body is straight-grained and has a tasteful appearance with distinct shading.

The headstock is equipped with a Gotoh Schaller type tuner with the Martin logo.
The golden decal logo shines on the top of the head, and this design is also a feature.
The rosewood used for the veneer also has black lines running through it, making it quite cool.

In terms of sound, it has a great volume that responds well to strumming strokes.
On the other hand, even delicate nuances produce a well-defined sound, allowing you to express ephemerality.
It is easy to add dynamics to the entire performance, so it may be perfect for playing and singing.

As Martin's representative model, the D-28 is highly recommended.

[Exterior condition]
There are some small scratches and potholes, but considering its age, it is in good condition.
There is a crack repair of about 2cm on the 1st string side of the body.
Currently it is barely noticeable unless you shine a light on it. There is no problem with the strength.
After receiving the product, we replaced the saddle and adjusted the playing conditions.
End pin replaced.

[Performance conditions]
- Thorough inspection and adjustment of the neck and wood by acoustic guitar specialist craftsmen
- Neck is straight, no chatter or clogging
- String height on the 12th fret: 6th string side 2.5mm, 1st string side 2.0mm
- Saddle protrusion amount: approx. 3.5mm-4.0mm
