Greven Guitars / The D White Lady

Greven has provided custom guitars for select musicians around the world.
The founder gained experience as a store manager at Nashville Gruhn Guitars, one of the world's leading guitar shops, in the 1970s. We specialize in always finding the best solution to suit a player's specific needs, such as wood type, construction, and body style. The concept is "to create the most powerful guitar on the planet." Its sound quality is loved by many musicians, and it is especially widely known in Japan for its use by Kotaro Oshio.

This time we will introduce "The D White Lady" made in 2011.
This model is rich in John Graven's craftsmanship, and you can enjoy the beauty of the work of art, starting with the "White Lady" inlay on the head and the carving at the end of the neck.
The wood used is also of very high quality, with fine-grained spruce and three-dimensional curly maple on the sides and back completing the overall atmosphere.

Of course, you can fully feel the high quality in terms of sound.
Although it is the so-called dreadnought size, the scale is 632mm, which is medium scale.
However, the sound is not loose at all, and is characterized by a glossy high range and a quick response low range.
Its light weight of 1.85kg has a positive effect on the sound, allowing you to experience high-quality reverb that feels like you're playing in a church-like venue.
The quick response in the bass range can be felt not only when playing with a pick, but also when playing chords with the pad of your thumb, and you won't have any trouble producing a "good sound."

Both in looks and sound, this is a piece that impresses not only players but also listeners.
