Without question the most iconic American-made amps ever were born in the 1950s and early-1960s at the Fender factory. When Fender was bought by the CBS corporation in 1965, several production changes were introduced that made the earlier examples of all Fender products much more desirable for collectors. From the earliest Princeton Tweed, to the much-copied 5E3 Fender Deluxe, Blackface Bandmaster, and Brownface Super, these amps are known for their sparkly cleans and unmistakable tube driven breakup.
