This is a brand new Adineko delay from Catalinbread and it was designed to emulate an old oil can delay. Catalinbread added some great features to this pedal to give you more tonal versatility than you could ever achieve with an actual oil can delay. The range of delay is far greater than what you’d find with an actual oil can unit and it really nails the murky warble of the old units which resulted from the oil thickness becoming incorrect. You can also easily change the balance of the dual playback head via the balance control for cool syncopated sounds. The Reverb knob can be set to the verge of self oscillation making for some very cool and mysterious sounds.
