AEA R92 Ribbon Microphone

The AEA R92 features the ultra-smooth sound of classic ribbon microphones, but with an asymmetrical polar pattern for different frequency responses on the front and rear of the mic. Designed for use up close on amps and instruments, the R92 has a more vintage response on the front of the mic and a brighter, more aggressive tone on the back of the mic. The same exact ribbon, tuning, and transformer from the flagship R44 are inside the R92, with an acoustical housing that makes it more suitable for cramming onto a guitar amp or being placed right onto the bell of a horn.
