This is a tenor banjo, therefore it only bares four strings and is small in stature. This model has very low frets, 14 in number, and is decorated with faux wood inlays on the rim and resonator. The fret and headstock inlays appear to be genuine mother-of-pearl. Newer machine tuning keys have replaced the original pegs. This wonderful old Banjo is playable but would benefit from a setup to the new owners taste.
