About This Listing

2011, Luis Enrique Uyaguari, Guitarras Concerto, 4/4 classical guitar

This concert classical guitar was made by Luis Enrique Uyaguari in Cuenca, Ecuador dated July 28, 2011. It’s a unique guitar, unlike the concert guitars made these days, it was made with few ornamental extras. Uyaguari made it only with sound and playability in mind. This guitar has exceptional response and volume as well as fantastic tonality, note clarity and separation, great resonance and impressive sustain.

It has some cosmetic imperfections from use. A chip along the edge of the soundboard where it joins the sides. A tiny scratch on the back of the headstock. Several small dents on the soundboard below the bridge: two are noticeable. I captured pictures of most of these imperfections, please study the attached photos.

Guitar will ship in a Gator Flight Pro TSA Series ATA molded classical guitar case.

In my opinion, in terms of the sound and playability, this guitar challenges the best concert guitars made in Spain. A modern luthier built guitar of equal quality would cost upwards of $7,000. I’ve priced it reasonably, so that this used Uyaguari Guitarras Concerto is a terrific investment.
