About This Listing

The original Korg Volca Sample has won over digital artists for its extensive functionality and high-quality drum samples. In this version, new functions have been added to contribute to a deeper sampling experience. The sixteen-step sampler with sixteen responsive step buttons allow players to jump into the sampling experience right away. One hundred preset samples (and fifty custom sample slots) can be tweaked and experimented with using the intuitive interface to introduce different effects such as reverb or reverse. Connectivity with the AudioPocket iOS app allows players to record and load their own samples into the Volca Sample V2 for even more customization. Product Overview
Though it makes sampling easy and fun, the Korg Volca Sample 2 is no toy. It offers 8MB (or up to 130 seconds) of memory, letting you add your own sounds easily via a micro USB port. (Don't have your own? It comes with 150 custom sounds.) From there, you can edit, morph, pitch, and sequence your samples, with a 16-step sequencer. When running on AA batteries, it can last 10 hours, so it's perfect for couch-jamming or roadtrips.
