Brass bodied, mirror-nickel plated tricone with the very rare and unique "Exploding Palm" art deco blast pattern that appeared on only a few known National tricones around 1937-38. Super, beautiful iconic tricone with dot inlays on Ivoroid-bound Ebony fingerboard. Slotted headstock with gold and red National Shield decal. This is the classic mirror-shiny great sounding tricone with bell-like tone and endless sustain and wonderful dynamic range. The notes flower; it is rich in harmonics and makes a great and very versatile guitar. Huge, GIANT bass and sweet ringing trebles. A real favorite of mine, I love this unique version of the truly great National Tricone.

National Inventor John Dopyera Senior's crowning achievement; he said the tricone sound "flows like a river," and he was right. An ultimate slide guitar, Tampa Red, Sol Hoopii, Sam Ku West, and Oscar Aleman all recorded with a National Tricone.

Please always feel free to contact me with any questions.
