The Gold Tone F6 lets guitarists get real mandolin tone—without learning to play mandolin.

Built on a larger F-style mandola body, the redesigned F-6 mandolin-guitar offers extended low-end response. In addition, the wider slim-line neck and longer scale provide added room for fretting chords and leads—a real plus for guitarists accustomed to a more room between strings and frets.

A solid spruce top with maple back and sides give the F6 true mandolin sound, while the radiused fretboard makes it easy to play. A zero fret (at the nut) aids tuning and tension. Combined with the built-in pickup for easy plugged-in picking, the F6 is an ideal instrument for live performance—especially for players who aren’t comfortable with mandolin tuning.
