Here we have an all original 'lawsuit' era piece, hailing from the early 70's.
Clearly a blatant copy of the Guild D55!!
Made by top Japanese luthiers in the peaceful idyls of Kiso Fukushima town, Nagoya Japan, and at a time before too much commercial nonsense underwrote the guitar world!
These guitars are seriously reasonable pieces for the price.
Spruce top, nice Rosewood body with three piece back. All original with no apparent repairs
Original hard case included
Described here as 'excellent' condition in accordance with Reverb guidelines, there are of course some signs of use over the decades to be expected as as pictured although nothing to write home about.
Closing half a century, this venerable hero has the perhaps expected signs of musical swashbuckling as shown in photo's, we have fully overhauled the guitar and lightly restored in keeping with the look and vibe.
Neck straight, action low, tone balanced and rich
We've installed a bridge system to maintain and preserve the geometry for another few decades at least. (this stops the bridge pulling up as you will see on 90% of vintage 12 stringers bought elsewhere!)
Professionally set up, frets dressed and nice quality D'Addario strings fitted.
