For your consideration is this 1974 Fender Telecaster bearing neck plate serial number 546292 in a Translucent Natural finish wearing a white guard and chrome bridge cover. I purchased this fabulous vintage guitar from the original owner in July 2014. The Tele has been cased and in storage for most of its life and during my ownership of nearly 7 1/2 years that tradition was continued until the photo op relative to this listing was undertaken. So, except for any potential aging it is in the exact same condition as I acquired it. The guitar's ash body wood grain and natural / butterscotch color reminds me of the early 80's AVRI Telecasters with the exception of this guitar's sides not being translucent natural butterscotch but a beautiful blonde hue.

This vintage guitar is in very good to excellent condition and may have a few minute nicks, a few minor surface scratches but very little finish wear. Any visible blemishes are certainly superficial in nature and do not effect, in any way, the guitar's playability. The four-bolt maple neck is beautiful and straight, the truss rod works freely, all electronic components work perfectly, the knurled control knobs have an aged patina and the tuners and chrome componentry are shiny and look new.  Guitar weighs in at 9.2 lbs., and 21.4 lbs., when carrying it in its case.

The original Fender branded rectangular guitar case is the 3-latch black tolex, orange interior version with side-pocket and duck-foot pull, and it exhibits the familiar Fender trademarked tailed logo. The case is in very good to excellent condition as well and all latches and hinges are operational.

Here are some of the important component codes on this exceptional guitar:

1) Potentiometers: Volume and Tone controls are Stackpole which is appropriate for this era of componentry - 304741 is the volume control stamping and 3047349 is the tone control stamping.

2) Pickups: Neck, & Bridge - did not remove these components from guitar but all solder joints are untouched on the original 3-way CRL control switch.

The guitar and case will be packed for a safe journey and arrival to its destination and new home. It will also be fully insured to avoid any/all accidental or intentional mishandling issues by the shipper. Any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask. Additional photographs available on request.

Thank you for taking time to look at this fine vintage 1974 Fender Telecaster and good luck.
