Kobyz made from a single piece of wood which is one of the oldest ways of making musical instruments in the history of mankind, and explained he is not technical backwardness or lack of metal tools. According to ancient beliefs of many nations only a single piece of living continue singing soul of the tree, which will be played on the instrument. The bow as well as a strings of Kobyz made of 30-60 non-woven horsehair, give a very dense, rich timbre overtones.
