This F-50 Fan Fret 2021 Winter Limited Edition is a great custom build with Master Grade tonewoods. For the Winter Series, Lowden procured a handful of rare Sinker Rosewood for the back and sides. Limited to only 25 guitars world wide, this naturally aged wood is paired perfectly with an Alpine Spruce top with eye catching 38 style Abalone top purfling and figured Tasmanian Blackwood comfort contoured arm bevel and bindings. The curious angled bridge, frets and nut to accommodate the elongated varied scale for versatility and robust tone add to the mystique of this top of the line limited edition build.
Great for drop and alternate tunings, the fan fret design opens up a whole new realm of possibilities. Looking foreign to the newbee to fan frets, you will be amazed at how comfortable and natural it is. It’s hard for your fingers to not find where to go. It’s actually more natural for the way our fingers lay on the fretboard, allowing space and comfort. The contoured arm bevel makes this mid sized jumbo feel so much smaller and easy to handle, and keeps you going for hours at a time without cramping up your shoulder.
