Original Edition E-MU Systems SP-1200 with SD reader

This is the original first grey 7030 edition bearing only “SP1200” on the rear, rather than all of the later editions which say “E-MU SYSTEMS SP1200”

Recently fully serviced by drum machine royalty Bruce Forat (iykyk), he also added a backlit lcd and an sd card reader in place of the floppy drive.

Some of the faceplate skin is cracking / peeling a little and there’s a number of small scuffs / marks on the unit but it’s all cosmetic, serial number suggests the machine is from 1987.

I have owned the machine since 2010 and there were 2 previous owners both of whom are friends of mine so I know it’s been taken care of.

I would prefer to insure the shipping for the full value hence the expensive shipping price.
