This is a 1958 Martin D-18 guitar. It is a great example of what a 1950’s Martin D-18 should be. It has Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, bridge, and healcap. It plays and sounds amazing! It just had a neck reset and full refret. It also had a bridge reset in the restoration process as well as a new ivory saddle with plenty of height on it to keep this guitar going for quite some time. The neck straight and it plays up and down the neck without issue. This is a true player’s guitar. It has the various marks and scuffs to show the life it has led. It has a couple of repaired side cracks but everything is stable and it is a solid guitar. It comes with a period-correct case. Please ask questions before buying. It is at our shop on Main Street in New Canaan, CT and visitors are welcome to inspect and play it in person.
