About This Listing

This is a multi-purpose tool for interfacing multiple test devices together during the service and repair of amplifiers, pedals, and other similar audio devices.
It features three 1/4" mono jacks, 2 bnc connectors, and a pair of binding posts, all wired in parallel.

Some of it's many uses include:
-serving as a junction box between your amplifier and load, in order to connect an oscilloscope, volt meter, or additional parallel load
-serving as a speaker output splitter
-serving as a line level splitter
-serving as an instrument level splitter
-connecting a frequency generator to the input of an amp or pedal, while also using the parallel outputs to monitor the waveform on an oscilloscope or voltmeter
-connecting two loads/speakers together for parallel impedance matching
-converting the binding post speaker outputs from a hifi amplifier to 1/4" for connecting to a guitar cabinet and vice-versa
-as an adapter to connect 1/4" mono, banana, or bnc together

This particular model has 1/4" jacks recommended for 50watts max, binding posts recommended for 50watts max, and bnc connectors recommended for 25watts max.
All connections are same polarity.
All connections are wired in parallel.
All negative connections are grounded to the enclosure.
There are no internal pads or loads within the device, all parallel outputs will be same-level as the input device used (eg. speaker level will be speaker level, line level will be line level, etc...)

This device is hand wired and made in Canada.

*Note* Pedal building is a hobby for me. All of my items are handmade unless otherwise stated. As a result, they may have tiny dings or small surface scratches due to the manufacturing process (clamping for drilling, etc) or other artifacts such as pencil lines from marking drilling locations. I do my best to take quality pictures in order to accurately represent the condition of my items listed. Some select parts, such as transistors, opamps, or diodes, may vary from the ones used by the original manufacturer. This is usually due to the scarcity of vintage semiconductors. I try my best to use equivalent parts whenever originals are not available and hand test them with either a vintage RCA WT-501A, B&K 520B, or B&K 530 transistor tester. All of my pedals run on a standard boss-style 9vDC center-negative external power adapter, unless otherwise stated. If you have any questions about a specific item, please don't hesitate to ask.
Happy shopping,
-Brad B.
