Gibson SG Modern 2020 Trans Black Fade Electric Guitar

Here for sale we have a Gibson SG Modern in Transparent Black Fade nitrocellulose finish. Built in 2020 this guitar features a Mahogany body with an AA figured Maple top, an Asymmetrical SlimTaper profile neck Mahogany neck, a 24 fret Ebony fingerboard, a compound fingerboard radius, Grover Mini Rotomatic machine heads, a Nashville TOM bridge, along with a pair of Gibson BurstBucker Pro Rhythm and Lead humbuckers, wire to dual volume and tone controls, a 3-way switch and has push/pull coil split circuits accessible via the volume pots.

The Asymmetrical SlimTaper neck profile provides a comfortable and ergonomic playing surface that feels quick and easy in gloss finish. The compound fingerboard radius gives a consistent feel all the way across the neck and the medium jumbo fret wire gives you plenty to work with when bending.

Aesthetic Condition

Headstock- The face of the headstock has some light markings visible from previous use. There is some light marking around the machine heads and lighter markings visible at various points. The sides, top edge and rear of the headstock are in very good condition with only light markings visible from general use.

Neck- The neck offers a smooth playing surface with some light markings visible from previous playing use. This is some light lacquer imperfections and very light markings visible to the neck. The binding shows a couple of small areas of discolouration although it is not significant.

Body- The top of the body shows some light markings from previous use which are highlighted in specific lighting as are the sides. There is a minor indent centrally below the bridge which is not significant. The rear shows more noticeable markings just off centre from where the guitar has worn against the clothing of the previous owner.

Further Notes-

I would deem the guitar to be in excellent condition. There are light markings to the guitar, mainly the body but these are not significant. They are noticeable on the rear but this is expected when considering the finish and that the guitar is preowned. The frets are in good condition with good shaping to them and minimal signs of previous wear. The electrics are in full working order. The hardware shows minimal signs of tarnishing and is in full working order.

The guitar comes with a non-original gator case, with a tan exterior and pink plush interior. The keys for the case are also included in the internal pouch.
