Jeff Bridges Signature Concert Copper E

Jeff Bridges is committed to preserving our planet and to encouraging consumers to make the right choices about the products they use.

The Academy Award®-winning actor, musician and environmentalist has joined Breedlove in designing a series of signature guitars that affirm we can have the very best while also honoring our trees and protecting the habitats and sustaining the local communities they serve.

Emblazoned with Bridges’ “All in the Together” motto along the fretboard, and his signature inlaid along the back of the Wave headstock, the Jeff Bridges Concert Copper E is proof that sustainability sounds great, for both the soul and the ear.

Concert Body Shape

The Concert, Breedlove’s most popular body shape—designed 30 years ago and still going strong—is favored by discerning players for its versatile, balanced, articulate sound and its easy playing ergonomic comfort.

This flagship platform performs equally well strummed or fingerpicked and is perfectly poised for accompanying the human voice.

Clear-Cut Free & Sustainable

No clear-cut woods are used in the Designed in Bend Organic Collections from Breedlove.

Owner Tom Bedell has traveled to the world’s key rainforests to personally ensure the responsible harvest practices that result in these forward-looking, light, resonant guitars—instruments you can feel good about playing, that will remind you with every strum that we truly are “All in this Together.”

Mahogany Back & Sides

Simple, supple and naturally beautiful, mahogany is one the world’s enduring tonewoods.

The sustainably sourced, individually harvested African mahogany in the Organic Collection grows tall and straight grained in the Congo Basin, the world’s second largest rainforest.

It provides warmth, clarity and organ-like sustain behind the ‘vintage’ played-in tone of a torrefied European spruce top—a classic, trusted combination, that, in a traditional non-cutaway concert body just rings, making for a comfortable, easy-playing and versatile all solid wood guitar at a revolutionary price.

Versatile Play Style

The Breedlove Play Style system was created to help you, the player, select your sound and playing style. Finding the most appropriate guitar to fit your sound requires finding not only the correct body shape, but the proper tonewood combinations to fit your style of play.

Each Breedlove guitar is designed for a specific play style and sound, the Play Style systems assign a playing style icon to each instrument.

V | Versatile Play, Multiple Styles: Breedlove crafts most guitars with a versatile “all-purpose” sound and feel – well balanced between strumming and fingerstyle play

Guitar Portrait

We are pleased to present these very detailed specifications for your 2020 Breedlove acoustic guitar, which was designed in Bend, Oregon and crafted in China.

In addition to dimensions, we have listed every piece of wood in this model: its common name, scientific name, and country where the tree grew. We use no clear-cut wood. We either salvage dead trees or individually harvest to minimize the impact on the forest.

You can travel globally with your Breedlove worry free.

No permits are needed. That said, it might be helpful to have this information on hand if you are traveling internationally.

We suggest printing out this information and carrying it with your guitar to avoid any misunderstanding or time-consuming waits with border customs officials.
