The top-of-the-line ART 745-A MK4 is an excellent choice for live sound reinforcement in auditorium, clubs, theater and more. Driven by 1,400 watts of Class D power, the 15" ART 745-A MK4 delivers your music to the audience with optimum efficiency and clarity. The ART 745-A MK4 offers musicians and professionals high quality components so they can perform night after night. Plus the iconic design of the cabinets allow for easy installation.

The titanium dome, 4.0” voice coil neodymium compression driver offers a unique vocal clarity and sound projection. The 15” neodymium woofer offers an extremely linear response and a precise, deep low frequency control. The transducers are produced using the most advanced assembly technologies. The amplifier delivers 1400 watts and is controlled by a DSP that takes care of crossover, equalisation, phase control, soft limiting and speaker protections.

RCF ART 745A-MK4 Powered Loudspeaker Features
  • 133 dB Max SPL
  • 1400 WATT 2-way peak power
  • Innovative DSP Processing
  • 1.4" Titanium Compression Driver, 4.0" v.c. Neodimium
  • 15" Neodimium Woofer
  • 650 Hz crossover point for perfect vocal reproduction
  • 90°x60°, wide dispersion constant directivity horn

1. IN/OUT CONNECTORS
The amplifier presents both XLR In/Out connectors and a Jack input for the maximum connection versatility.double nomex layer

2. SWITCHABLE EQ MODE
A switchable EQ Mode makes it easier to select among two different equalisation presets:
BOOST: extended response switch that slightly emphasizes the bass response for playback music and low volume applications; FLAT: linear response switch, when the speaker is used to amplify a live mix. The amplifier has a built in limiter circuit to prevent clipping or overdriving the transducers.
3. MIC/LINE SWITCH
A useful Mic/Line switch helps adjusting the input sensitivity. When used for speech, the [Mic] setting allows to use a microphone directly with the speaker. Set the selector to [Line] when using the speaker for live music or playback.

4. VOLUME KNOB
An easy to reach volume knob on the back allows to set the overall volume of the speaker according to its application.silicon surround structure

5. STATUS LEDS
3 status LEDs – Limiter / Signal / Status are provided for monitoring the system.
Plug-n-Go
The ART concept offers the best audio choice for a multitude of live sound applications in a plug‘n’go device. Just connect your microphone, your mixer or your audio device to the speaker and turn up the volume: there are no complex menus, no knobs to understand.

Powerful Class D Amplifiers
RCF's Class-D power amplifier technology packs huge performance operating with high efficiency into a lightweight solution. Class-D amplifiers deliver ultra-fast attack, realistic transient response and impressive audio performance. The amplifier features a solid mechanical aluminium structure which not only stabilises the amplifier during transportation but also helps the fan-less heat dissipation. All the Art 7 series amplifiers present SMPS power supply section in order to produce maximum output and minimum transportation weight.

APPLICATIONS
  • Compact live sound reinforcement
  • Portable PA
  • Frontfill and sidefill
  • Auditorium, Clubs, Ballroom, Corporate AV, Theatre
FiRPHASE, A New Perspective on Linearity
RCF speakers are designed by using FiRPHASE, a proprietary and advanced FIR filtering technology, conceived for delivering transparent sound, absolute clarity and perfect stereo images to the listener. The FiRPHASE algorithm optimizes dynamics, amplitude and phase patterns, ensuring at the same time minimum system latency.

Phase Matters
The design of the FIR filter for this specific purpose should start from an accurate measurement of the loudspeaker phase. The FiRPHASE algorithm uses this measurement and adapts the loudspeaker’s phase without touching the amplitude equalization. The heart of the advanced technique used by FiRPHASE is a recursive method (Least Squared method) combined with a proprietary algorithm that calculates the best FIR filter coefficients set in according to amplitude and phase constraints. The algorithm corrects phase and amplitude (when necessary) by taking into account the weak points of the transducers and the resonances or cancellations due to the cabinet of the loudspeaker. Despite the design perfection of our transducers and cabinets, we realize that the phase corrections are the “missing point” for the perfection. This technique allows a deep control of phase at mid-low frequencies with relatively small filters, reaching a higher resolution than that one as theory suggests.

High Quality Transducers
Woofers and compression drivers are precision built taking advantage of RCF’ s assembly technologies and a wealth of professional knowledge and experience dedicated to achieving extremely high standards.

Red Dot Design Award
The RCF ART 7 Series has earned the prestigious international Red Dot Design Award in the Product Design category. Receiving the renowned Red Dot acts as proof of the excellent design achievements of professionals and up-and-coming talent alike, thus symbolising a seal of quality. With its outstanding and innovative design, the Art 7 Series has succeeded in one of the most renowned and most difficult international design competitions worldwide. High quality materials, precise manufacturing, careful assembly and extensive quality control procedures complete the groundbreaking design work of the RCF R&D team.
