The exterior design of the KSM32 is a classic - the definition of style and elegance.

Inside, it is perhaps even more impressive. The KSM32 features Class A, transformerless preamplifier circuitry which improves linearity across the full frequency range.

It also provides the exceptionally low self-noise and increased dynamic range necessary for highly critical studio recording.

In addition, the KSM32 has a 15 dB attenuation switch for handling extremely high sound pressure levels. Thus, it has the flexibility to handle a variety of demanding sound sources, including vocals, acoustic instruments, ensembles and overhead miking of drums and percussion.

To acheive extended low frequency reproduction, the KSM32 features an embossed, ultra-thin, high-compliance diaphram. This gold-layered Mylar diaphragm provides the excellent transient response necessary to faithfully reproduce any sound source.

Some noises you can do without. To control them, the KSM32 has a switchable low-frequency filter to reduce vibration noise or to counteract proximity effect. Plus, an integrated three-stage pop protection grille is an excellent guard against wind and breath noise. The SL model also features an elastic shock mount which greatly reduces external vibrations.

And because the KSM32 offers an extremely high output level, you can reduce the need for microphone preamp gain, minimizing undesired noise.
