Armed with a pair of Seymour Duncan Antiquity Retrospec'd humbuckers, the Deluxe Mini DC delivers a flexible array of PAF-style tones, from jazzy cleans to high-gain heaven. You’ll also benefit from effortless playability, thanks to this guitar’s slim "C"-shaped neck and smooth rosewood fingerboard. Limited to 50 instruments available, the Deluxe Mini DC is a cross-genre do-it-all semi that will ace any live gig or studio session.

Reduced-size body, fast neck, and silky fingerboard

Playing the D’Angelico Deluxe Mini DC is sheer joy. It features a reduced-size laminated maple body and a solid center block for maximum tone and sustain. Its maple-walnut neck boasts a comfortable C profile, providing the perfect blend of grip and ease of movement. Its 16-inch-radius fingerboard features 22 medium-jumbo Jescar frets. This silky-smooth rosewood fretboard enables comfortable chording while facilitating technically demanding leads. The instrument’s easy-hand feel is a byproduct of its 25-inch scale length, which makes bends and vibrato feel effortless, while its double-cutaway body shape gives you optimized high-register access. For rock-solid tuning stability, the Deluxe Mini DC is equipped with Grover Super Rotomatic Locking 14:1 tuners, while a GraphTech TUSQ nut bolsters sustain and eliminates string binding.

Pure PAF tones

This guitar comes loaded with two Seymour Duncan Retrospec’d Antiquity humbuckers that deliver truly authentic PAF tones! These pickups are essentially the same as Seymour Duncan’s beloved Antiquity series PAF humbuckers, but without any of the hardware aging for a brand-new look. Seth Lover’s original late '50s "patent applied for" humbuckers are legendary for their articulation, delivering the characteristic full-sounding low end and mid punch of a great humbucker, but without any muddiness.

The D’Angelico legacy

After mastering his craft during an 18-year apprenticeship, luthier John D’Angelico opened his shop in Manhattan’s Little Italy in 1932. Catering to New York’s many jazz musicians over the ensuing three decades, D’Angelico and a single apprentice became New York’s foremost stringed-instrument builders, creating over 1,000 treasured archtop guitars until John’s death in 1964. After his passing, D’Angelico’s legacy lived on only through his rare, legendary instruments. After decades, the D’Angelico brand has resurfaced, bringing back the playability and attention to detail of the company’s New York roots. Today, We are delighted to offer this fine line of distinguished instruments. D’Angelico uses state-of-the-art manufacturing processes and the finest available materials to create playable works of art for today’s guitarist. From a modest shop in Little Italy to the world stage, D’Angelico’s dedication to quality craftsmanship ensures that this brand won’t be going dormant again any time soon.
