The EarthQuaker Afterneath V3 reverb effects pedal delivers a vast, expansive, enchanting set of sounds for you to explore. It features seven ethereal-inspired algorithms for endless tone customization. Length controls the decay length of the reverb. Diffuse adjusts the spread, ranging between sharper attacks and washier, more ambient-sounding effects. Dampen affects the tonal characteristics, from brighter tones to darker vibes with a mellower top end. Drag separates the individual digital delay lines, either gathering them closer together for stronger reverb, or pulling them apart for a scattered, ping pong-style delay. Drag can also be put under voltage or expression control using the EXP jack located on the side, operating in nine different modes that all affect the way the Drag control functions. Reflect alters the regeneration of the reverb, acting as a feedback control with options for more wash and echoes, or fewer. Last, Mix determines the balance between the input signal and the effect, lowering the level of the input signal to create the appearance of a fully wet reverb. The Afterneath V3 also includes a completely analog dry signal path, digital delay path, buffered bypass with Flexi Switch technology and a tails/no-tails option on bypass. Features
