The gong is 20" inches, 50.80cm in diameter. Some refer to this style of gong by the name of the country producing such instruments; such South Asian countries as Thailand,
Myanmar (formerly Burma), and Vietnamese Pham Tuan Gongs. This gong and similar are also produced in factories in China as well. This gong is pitched at note C#3. This unlathed brass gives this gong a beautiful, natural
look. The raw
finish coupled with deeper rims help result in rich, enveloping tones, suitable
for chamber music and meditative settings. Its sonic characteristics do not
lend it to thunderous effects like other gongs, but rather warmer tones that
resonate with arresting presence. Nipple gongs can produce a deep sound, as
