The Triolian is one of National's most iconic metal resonator guitars. Introduced in 1928 and only manufactured through 1938, National reproduced it starting in 2009. The great Rory Gallagher famously played a 1932 Triolian and Sister Rosetta Tharpe played a late 30s model.
The Triolian's all-steel body produces a bright and powerful sound through a single resonator cone. The neck is rock maple with an Ivory bound rosewood fretboard.
