For sale: one used Vox V847 wah pedal. No issues, functions perfectly, sounds great — the usual Vox vowel with added growl, thanks to a few mods. A prior owner had the transistors upgraded to 2N5172 units. I then modded the pedal for true bypass, bright pink LED, and changes to the circuit to level the volume between bypass and activated as well as increased ‘vocal’ quality. See the video below for sound samples; the pot change and mid-range mod have not been used for this unit. Shows scuffs, nicks, scratches, dings, etc. A DC jack has also been installed for standard 9v center-negative power supplies with an R. G. Keen-designed mosfet polarity protection in place. This unit currently has rubber feet installed; please send a message after checkout if you would prefer short screws installed for mounting to a board.
