Pearl MLX Presige All-Maple Shell 15x12 1987 #109 Pure White Lacquer

High-Gloss 109 white with polished cleared lacquered interior with stunning horizontal grain.

This is a 15" head width, by 12" deep shell. Very hard to find MLX size.

Condition in very, very nice. A few lacquer dings(a few small touch-ups), some very light pitting on lug chrome, with a few spots where the lugs contacted chipped against another surface.

- Heads spin freely

- 45° Bearing Edges are super sharp and clean

- All lug posts are solid

- Tension Rods are straight and true. Good nylon washers

- Swivel nut threads clear and greased

- SuperHoops have mild pitting

- BT2 Shell Mount is clean/solid/working freely

- Batter head is near new

- Reso head is older, but still supple. One small crease in the middle. Personally, I would replace both with new clear top and bottom maximize sound and the beauty of the interior grain.

- Early run MLX with cast high-tension lugs(coffin lugs were phased out in favor of these)

- Both badges present as well as tin vent hole
