Here is a fantastic King Silvertone Symphony professional bass trombone.
The predecessor of the more modern King 5B, the King Symphony was either a large tenor or a small bass depending on who you talk to. With a .547 bore, 9 inch solid sterling silver bell, and large bell throat, these horns have a dark and full brass trombone sound but are agile enough to play well in all registers. These are most commonly used as 'jazz basses' for big band playing. This instrument is in excellent condition. It has just been through the shop and plays well. There is some minor slide plating wear, not uncommon in a horn of this age. Rotors work well and this horn plays very well as is.
