This is a 4/4 violin. The label inside says Jacobus Stainer in Absam prope Oenipontum 17. There is some wear on the edges from use but the seams are tight. There is a small crack on the face next to the tailpiece. It does not move so I'm not sure if it was badly repaired or if it doesn't go all the way through. See the photos. The soundpost has fallen over so it will be shipped with loose strings. Also the case will need to be replaced as only one zipper works and the hinges are broken. Unbranded bow included.

At Village Music, we attempt to highlight cosmetic defects (if any) by picturing every angle of every piece of gear so you know exactly what you are getting.
