Neck Details: Set-in mahogany neck with bound Brazilian rosewood fretboard, dot inlays, and headstock truss rod adjustment. The neck has been refretted, and the tuners replaced with Grovers. There are some open holes on the back of the headstock from the original Kluson tuners. There is also a repaired crack along the bass side of the neck from the 6th to 7th frets, along with a small crack in the fretboard at the same spot.

Electronics: Original Gibson humbucker pickups with "Patent Applied For" decals, and original wiring harness with 3-way toggle selector switch and volume/tone controls for each pickup. The visible pot codes date to 1959.

Hardware: The tuners have been replaced with Grover tuners. The tailpiece is a 1960 wraparound bridge, which is not original to the instrument.

The body has a few open screw holes around the bottom strap button from a previously installed Bigsby, along with a small shadow on the front from the Bigsby's felt pad. The fifth fret side dot is missing, and there is a small repair on the bass side of the neck from the 6th to 7th frets, along with a small crack in the fretboard at this spot.

Tech Notes: The guitar plays well with low action and optimal neck relief, and is currently set up with 10s. The frets are wide and tall with minor wear. The pot codes date to 1959, while the serial number dates to 1960.
