Well, I never thought I would sell this, but it's just time to go. I'm not a 6 string player----sad. From the 1990's----- For you collectors and 6 stringers. Rare and expensive Koa wood wings with a maple 'through the body neck'.......Great sustain, punch and clarity. For years I played this as a 5 string. Carvin sent me a 5 string nut, replacing the 6 string nut. And I removed one of the bridge saddles-----So it was a 5 string bass with a bit wider string spacing. The 5 string nut is included in the sale.
The neck has an Ebony fingerboard with very little fretware. The neck is very flat. Gold tuners, knobs and bridge. There is some gold fade, but in general the gold condition is really good for a 1990's instrument. (I take care of my stuff....) 9 volt active preamp with a mid control added......All from Carvin. (Included is the original preamp that didn't have the mid control knob) Jazz bass style pickups--all original. There is a small divot near and below the volume knob. Please look at the pic of the guitar in the case. There are also very minor scratches on the back of the guitar from random rubs from clothing, etc. No big gouges. The case is in very good shape as it was used only for storage. I played many gigs with this in the 90's, including 'opening' Joe Diffie and Brooks and Dunn, here in Hawaii. USA buyers only. Continental US buyers only.... Ask all the questions before you purchase, and I will respond. Shipping will be via FedEX and you will get this in about 3 working days. Shipping is $150. (Freight has gone up...) Much thanks---
