Vintage unit previously owned, previously used. Sign of visible use are cosmetic in nature and wont effect functionality. Both the Transmitter and Mic required Power so (not included) are (2) 9Volt batteries to get it fired up - I tested it and walked away to the end of the building (about 50-60ft) It plugs up via RCA only on the unit.... a lot of musicians have 1/4" instrument cables laying around not so much RCA as it's considered more 'home entertainment'ish, so we are including the RCA to 1/4" adapter that I used when testing the system.
I just ran it to a guitar amp and although the volume pot was scratchy and kept projecting a screeching feedback while adjusting, once turned down (1/4 way up) - I was able to walk around the room with no interference or problems. The unit has the original manual and box but they are rough as seen. There are some scratches on the microphone. Scratches on the mic unit here and there. All of which is purely cosmetic and nothing is wrong with the system that would effect its functionality or sound quality. Honestly, I was surprised for the price it serves it's purpose without doubt. Really cool and vintage looking. No your not gonna be performing any hit records on this - but if you want a cool little vintage system and has that vibe this is it!
