1954 Epiphone Zephyr Emperor Regent Sunburst Guitar, Bigsby, Lifton, INSANE

1954 Epiphone Zephyr Emperor Regent Sunburst, Bigsby, Lifton case, INSANE craftsmanship in very good condition.  Comes with the original Lifton Case. VERY RARE Bigsby, with nylon saddled bridge, all original electronics, hardware, pickups, and tuners. INCREDIBLE flamed Maple body, sides, top, and neck.  Completely handcrafted arch top masterpiece with a 18.5" wide body, the king of the giant archtops.  From research, I believe this is laminated back, sides and top. Sounds fantastic unplugged, HUGE tones, plugged in with the 3 original pickups and organ button switching system takes it to the next level.  Lots of checking, mild wear, but clean for 70 years old.  No pickguard, but the bracket is included in the case.   One of the greatest archtop Jazz guitars ever made, with unrivaled craftsmanship.  SO good Gibson bought the company a few years later to end competition.  The 21 fret Ebony bound fretboard is a thing of art, with plenty of fret life on this exquisite lightning fast neck.  The flame on the neck, is breathtaking, rarely seen today on any guitar.  This is an almost 70 year old guitar, there is some wear and cosmetic issues.  The binding is detoriarating in some spots, and been reglued.  Celluloid binding is known to crack and separate, but still there.  Plays and sounds great, set up for medium action, you will need to set up for your preference.  Finding these WITH the Original Lifton case is even MORE rare.  The case has writing in in it from the original owner, and the original owner replaced the handle.  It is in decent condition and protects the guitar well.  Will be packed VERY well, in a real guitar box, fully insured, as I have packed hundreds before.  The pictures tell the story.  PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BUYING OR MAKING AN OFFER.
