Up for sale is Oberheim OB-XA in fair condition, the photos published are the photos of the actual unit being sold, please take a close look for the actual cosmetic condition.

OB-XA is famous for being used by artists like Van Halen, Prince, and Rush in the '80s.

The unit appears to be working reasonably well with a few issues that need some repairing and servicing work for full function. I'm not a technician at these so I may have not covered every function, but here below are the issues I noticed as being tested.

• Voice #8 fails autotune, as well as a few others occasionally fail randomly. Please take a look at the embedded YouTube video. 
• Hence the pitch seems slightly unstable.
• The modulation bend lever appears to be not responding. The pitch bend is fine.
• Has MIDI installed by the previous owner, where the "Computer Interface" slot been removed and the MIDI output/input coming out loose as pictured. The MIDI has not been tested. 

Besides the issues described above, everything else appears to be working fine to the best of my knowledge. All the keys and buttons and knobs responding as they should, I was able to save new sound programs as well. But again, I'm not an original owner or a technician so no guarantees can be made, and this is being sold AS IS.

Cosmetically, all the exterior parts are there in shape and the front panel is in nice condition for its age. There are some signs of oxidation on the rear, with engraving underneath the modulation panel as shown in my photos. I'm including plenty of photos outside and inside so you can see exactly how it looks.

Looking for a good new home for a person with the knowledge and skills to use this with some servicing and repair.

**This unit appears to be set to work on 115V, you may need a stepdown voltage converter for 220V regions.
