Here's The Run Down:

This is a 1970's Era Alvarez Deluxe Bowtie 4 String Tenor Banjo that was a high end model in their lineup and is definitely a great sounding & Looking Instrument! Other than some wear or marks on the head this banjo is in super condition for a pre owned vintage banjo (see pics). Its in the cosmetic condition shown, so be sure to see all of the pics (more available upon request). I tried to take really good pics, so you can judge for yourself (see pics). This banjo is all original without exception. There may be minor scratches, marks and/or flaws here and there, but nothing picture worthy and is extremely clean overall.  The finger board is in great shape and the frets show no wear to mention. The hardware is in great shape with minimal discoloration.

This Alvarez Deluxe plays & Sounds amazing! This is a super loud banjo for sure.  Although I think its set up perfectly, everyone has their own preferences. If your not happy with its set up, it will be your responsibility and cost to have it set up to your liking. The neck is straight with great action and plays perfectly from one end of the fingerboard to the other.  Its been a while since new strings were installed, so new strings may be in order. 

The included Original Hard Case is in very good shape. All latches hinges and handle operate as they should without issue with the exception of the end latch that is there, but doesn't seem to latch properly. It is used and vintage, so you will see minor signs of use and age.
