1960 Fender Jazzmaster in Candy Apple Red Refin.
I bought this great guitar in the 1990s and only changed the bridge and pickups. The rest is as I bought it.
The bridge is from Mastery, which makes all the difference in playing and sound. The pickups are from Electrical Guitar Company, the makers of aluminum guitars and the new Travis Bean releases, I believe. Look 'em up. The pickups give a clear and Strat-like sound--much better than the Duncan Quarter Pound pickups it came with all those years ago.
The body was refinished when I bought it and my old tech said it was probably refinished in the 70s.
The neck is a beautifully old Slab Board, as you can see from the photo and it has a near perfect C-shape for medium-sized hands and tapers nicely at the nut.
The pickguard cutout for the rollers are wider, as you can see in the photo. I'm not sure why but we guitarists are tinkerers. The original tuners still keep in tune amazingly well, even with heavy tremolo use and I've never had a problem with the tuning. The Jazzmaster ships with a solid G&G case and will be professionally packed. I'm listing $350 USD for shipping but if it ends up cheaper, I'll let you know.
