This guitar is too good (and cool) to pass up. It's a Martin 1999 D-18VS which means it has a 12-fret neck, the vintage style scalloped bracing, 1 3/4 nut and Sitka spruce top. It has great action, and the frets don't have any marks or wear. It has a K & K mini pickup installed in it. It's in great shape for being 20+ years old. It's got mojo as the finish doesn't feel as thick as new Martins and the top has that older Martin tone to it that only age can give. Some older 12-fret Martin dreads don't have scalloped bracing. It has a minor nick here and there but nothing to really discuss there. It has a couple of finish cracks. These things are to be expected in a guitar this age but yet it's in great shape for a guitar this age. My age and fretting hand issues make it so I should move this guitar on. FYI -These pictures were taken before the K & K was installed.
