Got it because I finally picked up some microphones and needed a XLR preamp situation, but now I have resolved that issue and no longer need this. Hopefully someone can do some cool stuff with it, especially with a better ear to appreciate compression and preamps, etc; could be a good studio or analog field recording tool. Everything works well, and sure looks and feels rough n tough. Headphone and tape outs are a plus too! No power supply, but it can run on 12v center negative or a few 9v batteries (and supply some phantom power).
