This Larrivee D40R Legacy dreadnought uses all solid wood and features their handfit dovetail neck joint for superior fit and sustain. Satin finish, maple bound trim, and herringbone purfling/rosette are standard features.

This guitar has the beefy tone of a high quality dreadnought: the solid rosewood back and sides offer muscular low-end, with good projection, and the right amount of clarity on the high end. A perfect guitar for all styles of music, and it does not have to take a back seat to anything else as far as tone is concerned.

IMPORTANT!! This acoustic guitar contains solid tone woods. Therefore, we strongly recommend a humidifier to help prevent the guitar from drying out. Many manufacturers will not warranty damage caused as a result of low humidity.
