Yamaha RGX 512J Vintage Made in Japan MIJ with factory EMG Pickups - VIDEO

This listing is for a Yamaha RGX-512J. The guitar was made in Japan and features a maple neck, rosewood fretboard and either a basswood or alder body (I've read conflicting specs). I believe it was made in the late 1980s or very early 1990s.

It plays great and sounds really good thanks to the Yamaha branded EMG pickups. The cleans are much better than the Ibanez RG, which this was made to compete with. There is a coil tap and you can get traditional Strat or high gain sounds easily.

There are some dings and dents but the price reflects this. This is a great deal on a fantastic playing/sounding vintage Made in Japan guitar.
