When my brother Chicago blues Hall of Fame member, Dave Specter turned me onto the Epiphone Riviera, I was hooked for life. I’ve had stock Korean made versions with mini humbuckers in addition to vintage original early 60s USA models with mini humbuckers. This may very well be the most perfect and best sounding, and easiest playing Epiphone Riviera I have ever owned. Were it not for the fact that I am playing mostly acoustic guitar and banjo these days, I would never sell it. The royal tan finish is gorgeous. It is in 100% mint condition with upgrades that are simply put, transformational ! The original pick ups were changed to righteous sound pickups P 90 mini humbuckers. They are the best mini humbuckers on the planet. Mount black insert gold foil with black mini humbucker rings. Taot CTS 500 K Short split pots. All paper caps, 033 Goodall NOS from the 1960s. Switchcraft output jack. Gator Journeyman HSC. I’ll put this Riviera against any other Riviera in the universe. These new pick ups and the switch craft toggle switch work smoothly and quietly unlike the stock issues. The new caps and pots matched to the new pickups make this Riviera a monster semi hollow body classic
