Here is the low down, a top of the line Marantz from the early part of the 21st century. A beautiful 130 x 5. But there was a design flaw, actually a chip flaw. I have owned this for several years, I had Reggie Jones(for those of you who remember Reggie when he was still in the repair business) he basically refurbished the entire unit , or should I say he did everything that he was able to , the only part he could not get was the Chip that is bad.this is the information I know, there are several other ideas on AK and some other sites. Ready for a new owner that may get this beautiful receiver back in working order. Sorry but I cannot spend any more time with beauty. I know this chip could probably be bypassed , I just have no idea of what functions would be lost. As it sits it does not power up. I have the owners manual, a fix it manual that is past my understanding. I never was a computer programmer. I have over $1200 in this unit over the time I have owned it. Asking $500 plus shipping, I am including the original remote control. A decent power cord. It is in the original box, but I must put it into a strong outer box. This this is very heavy, 64 lbs.
