Fender Telecaster Custom USA/MIM Hybrid Yosemite Pickups Maple Neck

Custom one-off Telecaster. A gem. The Body: 3-piece Alder with Black over Mint Nitro. Crafted to '62 specs by Valley Customs of California. A 60s 5-hole guard, in mint, was added for a special touch (plastic remains on pickguard).

The Control Plate: USA Fender control plate and knobs. Grigsby 3-way switch, Seymour Duncan low friction 250K precision pots, Gavitt 24AWG pushback wire, Emerson Deluxe .022uf paper in oil capacitor, and a custom treble bleed system.

Fender USA bridge with 6 Gotoh nickel saddles. An Electrosocket black chrome jack plate, switchcraft jack and black chrome ferrules.

Fender Yosemite pickups were added. The neck reads: 6.8K ohms, bridge reads 7.4K ohms. This is best pickup Fender makes for a Telecaster, clear, chimey, nice low end, a joy to play. Matched with this custom circuit, they have incomparable sound.

The Neck: New Old Stock 2017 Maple, 12" radius, 22 fret, with Fender Locking Tuners and a hand-crafted bone nut slotted from a blank by Marzz of Pasadena. The 12" radius makes it perfect for leads. The neck has only been used for testing.

Excluding the neck, which is made in Mexico, all the parts are made in USA. The assembly and 5-point set-up were done by Marzz of Pasadena, which includes a fret leveling, neck adjust and intonation setting. The string height is set to Fender specifications.

A deluxe Fender gig bag is included.
