2004 Danelectro Hodad 12 String Black Gold Metallic Sparkle 3 Pickup Select-O-Matic Electric Guitar

Very good condition overall. All electronics work as intended. Neck is straight and frets have plenty of life left. Truss rod works and is located at heel end of neck.

Rare model, hard to find. The side tape has a little lift at the cutaways and looks like it was cut slightly at the wraparound of the body / neck heel. This is pretty typical of these guitars and the tape is only decorative so it doesn’t affect the playability at all.

The Select-O-Matic pickup selector has six positions:

1-Neck/Bridge
2-Neck
3-Neck/Middle
4-middle
5-Middle/Bridge
6-Bridge

The Blow Switch: Bypasses the rotary switch and turns all 3 pickups on at once in series which gives the DC-3 a 7th setting above and beyond the Select-O-Matic switch for a no holds barred blast of tone. Thus, when the "Blow Switch" is activated this makes playing leads an easier chore as the guitar is automatically louder when the Blow Switch is engaged to and automatically goes back to the settings you had previously on the guitar when you flip it back to the original position.

No gig bag or case but guitar will be packed safely and shipped quickly.

This is a pre owned guitar that will show some signs of wear commensurate of age and use.

Guitar looks and plays great as is but any future cleaning, maintenance, repairs will be the new owners responsibility.
