I purchased this beauty new for my collection and played it only to test upon arrival. I have stored it carefully in a humidity controlled environment. This is a very rare, limited run, collectible and beautiful instrument.
I have spoken to my friends in collector circles and these are highly prized and rare J-45's. There are very few in existence, and it is almost impossible to find one in new condition.
This is an extremely well crafted and resonant instrument. In my opinion, Gibson Custom was building some of their best acoustics during this time period. The workmanship and attention to detail on this guitar is impressive. It plays and sounds fantastic and has zero playtime and zero fret wear.
The tone, resonance, weight balance and quality of the finish and fretboard are out of this world.
