The Mp100 V2 is the second generation of the MP series by Alctron and are a UA clone..

These preamps pack a good price to performance ratio but with the modifications they simply sound excellent with better bandwidth, higher headroom and sound less muddy to boot.

About the Modifications:

The Mp100 V2 uses some inexpensive parts just as the UA does so we use a similar approach to satisfy the audiophiles out there who find them to sound to pushed in the midrange without much extension in the low end and top end response.

 We perform a full audio path upgrade and pull out all components in the audio path and tune the circuit to have better headroom, bandwidth, detail, frequency response and better noise specs.

The Tube is also replaced the power supply overhauled for the best possible performance for the design.

Purchasers will find that the musicality and performance of the Mp100 V2 is dramatically increased and offers a excellent with the modifications that will leave it sitting on your vocal etc for years to come and all at a price that won’t break the bank.

Our modifications really push the performance the design to the limit with a low noise tube, Burr Brown Opamps and a whole lot of engineering know how.
