I don't see this mentioned enough, but Ultrasone's "S-Logic" gimmick is cool and all, but it may require that you wear the headphone with the earpads squishing the lower part of your outer ears. They offset their specially-tuned drivers' position to not aim right at your ear canal entrances like other brands. They do achieve great sound, but their "S-Logic" doesn't work for everyone. I already have the Pro1480i, HFI-2400, and Pro900. That's enough for me. I have to wear them in the unintuitive way described for best sound (it brings the drivers horizontally in line with my ear openings), and you better believe that positioning has a huge impact on the sound. There is no discomfort for me, at least, and headband cushioning is decent on all Ultrasones except possibly the very cheapest models.
